About Plano Car Wash

Plano Car Wash is one of the self-service car washes listed in Plano, Texas. The business is registered at 2540 14th St, Plano, TX 75074; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

In Plano, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Texas, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Plano keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

Its Google rating stands at 3.4 out of 5 from 55 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Plano is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Plano is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Pretty pricey for what it offers, worn out buttons make it hard to know which feature you want, leaky brushes spill soap everywhere, had to switch bays because i could only brush one side due to the way the brush swing arm was mounted. Good location could be a great spot if the owner would invest some money into it.

Used to be my regular but not anymore. Not maintained, and a health violation because 2 of the bays have standing water, clogged and does not drain. Same with the little small hand wash sink. It's been this way for almost 1 year now. Fix it or close it down.

Some items need attention. I'm sure the owner is aware. I know I drop a good $20 at least once a week, so it is a well-functioning car wash! It would be nice to be able to hang the floor mats to wash them, more light in the evenings, and I wish their system took credit/debit cards. Having said all of that, their car wash system has every setting I'm aware of and they all work and you can get started for only $2 in quarters! They have several working change machines and several operating vacuum & fragrance machines that accept bills. This location gets pretty busy but I've always felt safe there and have never had any problems with others there.

I have mixed feelings about this car wash. To wash, rinse, foam brush, etc. Costs 2 dollars when most only cost 75 cents. I lost a few quarters at the wash and the vacuum. They didn't go in clean. The foam brush was leaking, and one stall didn't have a spray gun. Everything else worked good, just a few issues.

Every eighth quarter it eats and doesn't give you credit, so it costs $2.25 instead of the posted $2.00 and the hoses are split so you get more water on yourself than on the car. It used to be good but they don't maintain it anymore. There is no one there to contact and get your money back.
